If a wild animal is born with a lame limb, its parents may stick with it as long as they can, but in the world of nature, sooner or later a predator is likely to take advantage of its weakness and eat it. But Human Beings do not live in the wild. Why, then, do Republicans seem to feel that people with disabilities, whether from birth or from later trauma, should just be "left to the lions" so to speak by trying to scale back as much as possible the laws designed to protect The Rights of People With Disabilities?
